First, do no harm. -Heath Curdts, banjo player
The Ladies Banjo Society of California is a social club and charitable organization created to foster and celebrate musicianship. Our goal is to support young musicians in their pursuit to become older, better musicians; while raising banjo-awareness wherever we go through member events, benefit shindigs, and our kick ass t-shirts (click here). The LBSC is not limited to ladies, banjo players, or even California residents. We also encourage men, children, and those living outside of California to join. And while we love to play the banjo at the LBSC, we welcome musicians of all inclinations, as well as sympathetic non-musicians. Join us!

GIVING
The LBSC is dedicated to promoting music education for young people in need. With the money we raised this year we are funding weekly private violin lessons for a low income San Francisco 7th grader through the Community Music Center in San Francisco. {For more info on the Community Music Center, see their site: www.sfcmc.org}
We raise all our funds through memberships, benefits, and donations. Although a LBSC membership is for life, we accept and gratefully appreciate your continued support and donations this year.
